At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Gia Giudice wasn’t just making her presence felt as a guest—she was speaking her truth. As she prepared to launch her new podcast, Casual Chaos, Gia took a moment to reflect on the complicated relationships within her family, particularly the ongoing tension between her mother, Teresa Giudice, and her aunt, Melissa Gorga.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have long been invested in the fractured relationship between Teresa and Melissa. The drama has been a central theme of the show for years, leaving viewers wondering if reconciliation is possible—and, more importantly, if that reconciliation could lead to both women returning to the cameras for future seasons of the show.
During the interview at the awards, Gia Giudice was asked if she thought there was any chance of her mother, Teresa, and her aunt, Melissa, ever coming together to film again.
“For the aspect of just filming, it’s pointless. It’s still so much deeper than that,” Gia Giudice explained. “And I don’t think that’s what fans don’t understand. Like, there’s so much turmoil and hurt, and it’s just been so long. I think it’s safe to say both parties are over it.”

Gia continued, shedding light on the emotional weight that has carried over the years, far beyond the confines of cameras and scripts.
“And what the fans need to understand is that this is our real life. We don’t want to fake it anymore,” Gia said. “We’re really over it and it’s just toxic. There was too much toxicity. It’s kind of like, let bygones be bygones.”

Gia’s perspective on the situation was clear: while fans might crave drama for the sake of entertainment, there’s a deeper truth beneath the surface. The wounds between Teresa and Melissa, after years of conflict, might never fully heal—and that reality is something Gia wants people to understand. The years of turmoil have made it impossible for any easy reconciliation, and she emphasized that no one is interested in pretending for the cameras anymore.
“If Bravo wants to bring them both back, they need to understand that there probably won’t be a relationship,” Gia concluded, offering a sobering reality check to those hoping for a neat, TV-friendly resolution.
