Erika Jayne recently revealed that she has no issues with Kyle Richards’ decision to keep her relationship with Morgan Wade under wraps, despite rumors swirling around the two. Though Kyle has yet to confirm any romantic involvement with Morgan, Erika respects her friend’s wishes and is staying out of the drama.

During the Bravo After Show, Erika shared, “However Kyle lives her life is really none of my business. I mean, I am Kyle’s friend. I’m kind of on a need-to-know basis, and I don’t really need to know.” Erika went on to reveal that Kyle had specifically asked her not to discuss Morgan Wade on the show. “Actually, Kyle asked me not to say Morgan’s name (on the show), and I said okay fine. Not a problem.”
The situation comes on the heels of Morgan Wade’s brief appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last season. After that, it was clear that Morgan wasn’t interested in engaging further with the RHOBH cast. Erika’s response shows a level of respect for Kyle’s boundaries, understanding that certain aspects of her personal life are not meant to be public fodder.
However, not everyone is as understanding of Kyle’s reluctance to address the rumors on camera. Boz Saint John, expressed concern that Kyle’s friends might not be supportive if they are unable to openly talk about what’s going on in her life. Boz remarked, “If there are others in the group who believe other things are going on and Kyle doesn’t want to talk about it — I don’t know how they are going to be good friends to her if they can’t speak about the things that are going on in her life.”

It seems the root of the issue isn’t the friendships themselves but rather Kyle’s desire to keep her personal life private. If you’re one of Kyle’s close friends, it appears she wants any discussions regarding her relationship to happen away from the cameras, in a more private setting.
At the end of the day, it’s clear that Kyle values her privacy, and for her friends, respecting that boundary seems to be the most important thing.
